About
Building London’s Next Digital Media Network
DICITY is developing a network of digital displays integrated into street-facing retail and commercial locations. Our objective is to create a flexible, visually powerful media platform connecting advertisers with audiences across London’s neighbourhoods.
We combine digital display technology, location partnerships and campaign management to create a new street-level DOOH channel.
London already has more advertising than anyone can absorb, most of it at motorway scale or buried in a feed. The windows people actually walk past — the ones lit at eye level on a high street at seven in the evening — are barely used as media at all. That is the layer DICITY is building.
Each screen sits inside an existing frontage rather than on a new structure, which keeps installations reversible, planning-light and welcome to the businesses hosting them. The result is a channel that grows window by window instead of site by site.
Three Parts, One Network
- 01
Display technology
High-resolution indoor LED displays specified to be read through glass, in daylight, from the pavement. Portrait first, because that is how a shopfront is seen.
- 02
Location partnerships
Agreements with London businesses and property owners whose windows face busy streets. Each window is assessed individually before anything is installed.
- 03
Campaign management
Scheduling, playback and creative updates handled centrally, so an advertiser deals with one network rather than a dozen shopkeepers.
What Is Live, and What Is Not
A network in rollout is easy to oversell. These are the facts as they are today.
- The network
- A rollout in progress across 5 London zones. Every location on the map carries a status, and available windows are open to enquiry.
- The dataset
- The 10 entries currently published are demonstration records that show how the map, filters and location pages work. Verified sites replace them as they are signed.
- The media
- 6 of the 6 films in the gallery are AI-assisted concept visualisations, and every one is labelled as such. Nothing here is presented as a live installation unless it is one.
Demonstration dataset. The entries below are sample locations used to illustrate how the DICITY network map works. Verified sites are published as the network rolls out.
